Why was this building demolished?
This was the last part of a commercial building on the north side of Irving Park right next to the Irving Park Brown Line stop. When that station was rebuilt, the CTA claimed and demolished the closest parts of the building. Of the other part, the sign shop had moved to another location, Frank the Cleaner to a new location across the street.
